Team Championship Bidding
Meet to be held July 24-26. The meet will be a SCY 18/under timed finals meet. There will be two sessions at Wesleyan. AM and PM with different Teams at each (like Regionals). Velo-CT site in Norwalk will be available as an overflow site.
All meets will be merged for scoring purposes, and team scores will be organized by team size.
Small = 75 registered USA Swimmers or less
Mid Size = 76 - 149 registered USA Swimmers
Large = 150 or more USA registered swimmers
Scoring will be to 24th place and swimmers will score with their preliminary results. Teams can enter as many swimmers in an event as they wish; however, only the top 3 swimmers can earn points. Swimmers may swim up to 7 individual races. There will be mixed relays in the preliminary session. Teams may enter as many relays as they wish, but only the A relay will score points. The order of events can be found attached to this email. The meet announcement will be developed by the Program Development Committee and hosting teams will add their specific information after being awarded the meet.

- The venue must have lifeguard coverage for the duration of the meet.
- The meet database backup file including team scoring must be submitted to the CSI Office no later than Sunday evening following the conclusion of the Regional Championships.
- If applicable, Teams can apply for Outreach funding for Outreach swimmers.
- Meet hosts are responsible for securing a facility and paying all expenses and fees.
- Meet hosts are responsible for procuring and paying rental fees for any equipment that is necessary to run a championship meet. This includes a complete timing system with touch pads.
- CT Swim will order 1-6 medals. Top 6 individuals at each site receive medals, top 3 relays at each site receive medals.
- Meet database, Age Group Championship qualifying times, meet program, etc. are the responsibility of the host club.
- Host club and officials working the meet shall adhere to CSI Warm-Up Procedures.
- T-shirt vendor arrangements will be made by CT Swim.
- Other vendor arrangements are between host club and facility.
- Host clubs must provide concessions for athletes and spectators.
- Host clubs must provide a separate hospitality area for coaches/officials with food/beverages adequate for the meet length.
- Timers must be provided adequate beverages.
