Results Revised; Covid-19 Meet Protocol Lifted; Slate of Nominees to the Board of Directors

Results from the TP meet on May 15-16 have been revised.

COVID Meet Protocol for Connecticut Swimming Officials Lifted - Effective Immediately. Per the decision and directive of Officials Chair Dave Pite and Program Operations Chair Mark Wollen the COVID Meet Protocol for all CT Swim Officials document originally posted and published on August 18, 2020 and most recently updated as of October 13, 2020 is hereby lifted and no longer required to be adhered to. Regular USA and Connecticut Swimming Inc. protocols and procedures will resume effective immediately except for the requirement to wear a mask which will remain in place until June 15, 2021 at which time that will be revisited. All officials and especially Meet Referees are reminded that you must still adhere to the Host Team and applicable Facility’s COVID Protocols when officiating and that our regular protocols can still be modified if necessary based upon the facility and common sense to try and insure and provide the athletes and all others volunteering and attending with the safest possible environment during these unprecedented pandemic times.

The Nominating Committee is pleased to present the slate of candidates for your consideration and election at the House of Delegates on Tuesday, June 15. It has been the goal of the Nominating Committee to involve the greatest number of participants within our LSC.  Candidates may be nominated from the floor and must have given their consent in advance (in writing) to the person nominating them or be present (in-person or virtually) at the House of Delegates meeting in order to accept the nomination. Thank you to each who has expressed a willingness to serve and for your participation in this important process.
