The Connecticut Top 16 list is finalized. Connecticut Top 16 times are compiled from all meets during the 2016-2017 short course season and 2017 long course season, in an individual event within the following age groups: 10/U, 11/12, 13/14, 15/16, 17/18 and Senior. This includes the Open Water Championship mile swim for 11/O athletes (page 136). The mini mile is not considered a Top 16 event. Annual award banquet invitations are based on this list (not on place finish at championships).
Award Banquet Reservations and Award Jacket orders have opened. Please be aware of the important deadlines listed below.
- Monday, October 2, 2017: Athletes wishing to receive a recognition plaque must place a reservation by Monday, October 2, 2017.
- Wednesday, October 4, 2017: Top 16 athletes and Scholar Athletes wishing to order an award jacket must place an order with Boathouse by Wednesday, October 4, 2017.
- Sunday, October 15, 2017: Eligible athletes wishing to attend the banquet only (no recognition award) must place a reservation by Sunday, October 15, 2017.
