Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CSI Board of Directors on July 16, 2020, approved modifications to the Coach Education Incentive Program effective for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 seasons.
- The 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 Coach Education Grant periods are combined.
- The eligibility period will now be September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2021 (2 years).
- For this extended period, the number of grants awarded is increased to a maximum of six (6) and each grant award is increased up to $650.
- There will be no restrictions to previous year winners applying. 2018-2019 grant awardees may apply.
- The deadline is Friday, September 10, 2021.
The CSI Board of Directors (07.16.20 meeting) also voted to expand the allowable grant award expenses to include the purchase of equipment related to competitive swimming training.
