An early welcome to Safe Sport Coordinator Greg Pinchbeck: CT Swimming is pleased to announce that Greg Pinchbeck, newly-elected Safe Sport Coordinator, has agreed to transition into his duties in advance of the September 1 commencement of his term. Our sincerest thanks to Rob Riccobon for his years of service as Safe Sport Coordinator from its inception.
Greg will oversee all aspects of Safe Sport focusing in the near future on assisting clubs, coaches, meet hosts, officials, swimmers and parents with the June 23 implementation of Minor Athlete Abuse Protection Policy (MAAPP). Please feel free to contact Greg with any matters regarding Safe Sport.
The Bulldog Swimming meet on June 29-30 has been re-categorized as an on calendar sanctioned meet.
Long Course Lane Rentals at Wesleyan University: Connecticut Swimming is offering long course training opportunities to all CSI clubs over the Friday, July 5 - Sunday, July 7 weekend. The rental rate is $50 per lane for a 2-hour block of time. Clubs will reserve lanes using the Wesleyan University LC Training Reservation Form posted to each club's FAST Administration page.
