IMPORTANT Age Group Championship Cancelled

March 11, 3:35pm: CT Swimming and Chelsea Piers have continued to monitor the latest recommendations from local and state leaders in response to the spread of COVID-19 in Connecticut.  In response to the latest recommendation from the CDC, WHO and government officials on large group events, CT Swimming and Chelsea Piers have made the decision to cancel the 2020 Connecticut Swimming Short Course Age Group Championships this upcoming weekend, which draws over 1,200 athletes, coaches, spectators and additional volunteers from across Connecticut. Please note that all splash fees will be refunded by CT Swimming.

We thank everyone for their patience as we went through this process, it was a difficult decision that was not made lightly.

Anyone who made a reservation at the Stamford Sheraton has until 6:00pm to cancel their reservation without penalty.

March 11, 9:40am Update: CSI and Age Group Championship meet management will meet today at noon. There will be an update following the conclusion of this meeting.

March 10, 7:10pm Update:Upon reviewing CDC guidelines and recent CT government declarations Age Groups Championship will proceed this weekend with the original schedule proposed on the condition that only athletes, coaches, and essential meet staff enter Chelsea Piers Connecticut.  There will be no spectator stands available or viewing area reserved.  We are investigating a live stream to YouTube.  While we understand this situation is not ideal, we wanted to find a way to let the athlete's compete and mitigate the number of people on-site.  We ask that you respect these conditions as they are described.

Information will be distributed in the next 24 hours regarding pick up/drop off as soon as Chelsea Piers works through the logistics.

Thank you for your patience as we navigate uncharted territory.

Please continue to check for updates.
