Coaches:
Zones coaches will be chosen by the Age Group Committee. All prospective coaches must be a current USA and CT registered coach in good standing and fill out an application.
Zone Head Coach Application

- Mileage to practices and meet if driving your own vehicle.
- Assistant Coaches will receive a $1000 stipend and Head Coaches will receive $1250 stipend.

2026 Athletes:
Swimmers will represent CT Swimming like in past years. Swimmers will need to travel with their parents/guardians to the meet. There will be no addition CT Swim imposed criteria to travel other than preregistering and making one (1) cut for the meet. You have one cut and want to go, you are more than welcome to. CT Swimming will provide coaches for each session of the meet and a block of hotels rooms is set aside at the hotel listed below. Athletes can order Zone gear just like in prior years.
NEW THIS YEAR:
There will be a Team Bus for 11-14 year old athletes to travel from the Team Hotel to the pool each day. Additional details will be provided when registration opens
Athlete Gear:
- Athlete's Gear: 2026 CT Swim Summer Zone Gear
- 10u athletes will receive a hoodie, shorts and 4 t-shirts.
- 11-14 athletes will receive a hoodie, shorts, 4 t-shirts, and a warm up jacket and pants
- All athletes will receive a team bag tag! Athletes that register by July 1st will have a personalized bag tag.

2026 Team Hotel Information:
- Hotel blocks and booking links are in place and actual hotel information will be provided AFTER registration for your swimmer is completed. Registration will open after the meet hosts posts the meet announcement.
- If your swimmer currently has Zones cuts AND you plan to stay at the team hotel from Tuesday July 28th through Sunday August 2nd, please submit this Google form: https://forms.gle/

Your room will be assigned, and you will be responsible for paying for the room upon arrival. - If your swimmer does not yet have a Zones cut OR you are not staying for the full duration of the meet, please wait for a separate booking link to be provided after registration is completed.
- Once our current blocks fill up, I can then request additional rooms if needed. So please look into the hotel information ASAP after registering your swimmer. It is urged that all 11–14-year-old swimmers stay at the team hotel as the bus will depart and return from this location each day of the meet. 10u swimmers are welcome to stay at the team hotel; however, will not be riding the bus and are allowed to find alternative hotel options.
- Rooms will be assigned within the main block in order of requests through the Google form. If the block fills up, and no additional rooms can be assigned, you will be notified ASAP.

- This application is posted to all Swimmer/Parent FAST My Accounts. (Instructions).
- Please note there are two deadlines July 13th at 11:59p & July 22nd at 11:59p, first deadline you are guaranteed your gear size, second no guarantees you will get the size you ask for.
- Hold a current full year premium USA Swimming membership
- Swim in one CT USA Sanctioned meet since 9/1/24
- Make one cut since 8/7/24
- All participants MUST purchase Zone gear
- First time attendees MUST purchase Team backpack
- All selected swimmers MUST PAY the NON-REFUNDABLE FEE ($120) IN FULL before 6:00p, Monday, July 28th. A final application will be emailed to selected athletes.
- Adapted athletes are encouraged to apply. Contact office@ctswim.org for information.
- Additional Eastern Zone criteria to enter Zone Meet
- Eligibility of athletes with qualifying times for higher level meets:
- Athletes who have competed in an Individual Event at the USA Swimming National
Championships, the USA Swimming Spring Championships, US Open, the USA Swimming
Summer Junior Championships or a USA Swimming Trials Class meet are not eligible to
enter and compete at an EZ AG Championship meet. - Athletes 13 years of age and over who have achieved a qualifying time in an individual
event for any of the above meets prior to the entry deadline for the EZ meet, may not enter
and compete in an EZ AG Championship meet. - Athletes who have achieved a qualifying time in an individual event for Winter Junior
Nationals but have not competed in that event at Winter Junior Nationals, may enter and
compete in that individual event (s) in prelims only at an EZ AG Championship meet,
additionally, they may NOT swim those strokes/distances on relays.
