Congratulations to GYWD's Meghan Lynch for her 2016 Swammy Award: Age Group Swimmer of the Year 11/12. Swammy awards are presented annually by swim news website SwimSwam.com. Meghan's numerous accomplishments include: 22 swims on USA Swimming's Top 100 lists; top IMX for 12 year old girls for LC and SC; Top 10 times in 23 of the 35 events in the 11 and 12 year old age groups combined, and #1 swims in the 200Y breast, 200L breast, 200/400L IM, and 400Y IM. 2017 LC Bid Procedures are posted. Regional Championships and Senior Invite bid declarations are due Monday, January 16, 2017. Regularly-scheduled meet bid declarations are due Tuesday, January 24, 2017.

USA/CT Swimming members interested in serving on the Nominating Committee should contact GeneralChair@ctswim.org or office@ctswim.org. This committee will prepare a slate of candidates for election by the House of Delegates on May 16, 2017. Elections will be held for the Age Group Committee Chair, Program Operations Vice-Chair, Treasurer, Technical Planning Committee Chair, Safety/Safe Sport Coordinator, Officials Committee Chair, Registration/Membership Coordinator, and Coach-At-Large. All meetings are held by teleconference.
