CT Swimmers breaking records and winning medals!!

Annam Olasewere, CPAC - a US Junior National Team member and multiple CT record holder, broke two more CT Swim records at the CPAC Christmas Invite early this month.  She set the 100 yard freestyle record for the 17-18 and Senior girls. 
 
Charles Egeland, YALE - a Varsity member of the Yale Bulldog's Men's Swimming Team, set two CT Resident records at the US Open in Greensboro, NC.  He set the 100 and 200 yard breaststroke records at finals, winning both events. 
 
Kieran Smith, RAC, a bronze medalist in the 400-meter freestyle as the 2020 Olympics, a silver medalist as part of the men’s 4×200-meter freestyle relay at the 2024 Games, set new world records at the 2024 Short Course World Championships in Budapest, as a member of both the SCM 4×100 and 4×200 freestyle relays. Individually, he claimed a silver medal in the 400 freestyle and finished fourth in the 200 freestyle. 
 
Ashely Calderon, ZEUS - broke the Honduras National Record in the 100 backstroke at the 2024 Short Course World Championships in Budapest.
