All Connecticut Swimming officials must be members of USA/Connecticut Swimming. Join after Sept. 1, 2018 and your registration will be good through December, 2019. Membership is $75. You need not join before the clinic, but it will speed your certification if you do. Join using the online application at Connecticut Swimming's website: ctswim.org under membership. Be sure to make your payment after completing the form. Please allow two business days for your membership to be processed. You also will need to pass a Level 2 background check and complete an online "Safe Sport" Training Course (free) at usaswimming.org to be members of USA/Connecticut Swimming. Officials are encouraged to contact their clubs about reimbursement for USA/Connecticut Swimming membership and other fees. Generally, Stroke & Turn officials clinics last 2 1/2 hours. For credit, please plan to attend the clinic in its entirety.
