Connecticut Swimming Inc. recommends the following procedure to all CSI-registered teams with regard to accessibility to swim meets for any handicapped spectator.

If the venue at which a swim meet is being contested does not have handicap access to the spectator area, the host team will make every effort to locate that person to an area which does not interfere with the running of the meet nor place the individual in an unsafe environment, but allows the individual to view the meet. If the facility does have handicap access to the spectator area, individuals will be directed to that area.

Any handicapped individual needing assistance in securing a spectator space with regard to the above directives should contact the Meet Manager and/or the Meet Referee before the start of the meet.

Connecticut Swimming Inc. and its teams will follow the above procedures to the best of their abilities.
