MEET CLASSIFICATION: This meet is open to all USA Swimming athletes and clubs.
MEET FORMAT: The meet will be swum as timed-finals.
SCRATCH PROCEDURES: Coaches will receive scratch sheets at the beginning of the sessions. Scratch sheets must be returned within 20 minutes after the start of warm-ups. If a scratch sheet is not received by that deadline all swimmers will be considered NOT to be scratched and will be seeded in their entered events, except that any over-entered swimmers will be scratched from their last event(s) until they are in compliance with entry rules.
FACILITY: The Ocean Beach Competition Pool is an 8 -lane, 50 meter pool. Colorado Timing system will be used. Limited spectator seating is available around the pool deck. Please bring chairs.

SESSION TIMES: Warm up: 5:00 pm, Start: 6:00 pm
WARM-UPS: CT Swimming Warm-Up Procedures will be in effect.
ELIGIBILITY: All athletes must be current athlete members of USA Swimming. Age on the first day of the meet shall determine the swimmer’s age and age group for the meet. Any swimmer who is entered and is unregistered, will be scratched from the meet until registration is completed. All coaches must present a valid USA Swimming coach card to the Meet Director prior to the commencement of any sanctioned swim meet, and must have this card with them while on deck.
ADAPTED SWIMMING: Any current athlete members of USA Swimming with a disability as defined by USA Swimming Rules and Regulations may enter this meet. If modifications to USA Swimming rules are necessary then the coach or athlete must notify the meet referee of any disability prior to competition.
EVENT INFORMATION: Deck entries will not be accepted.
ENTRY LIMITATIONS: Swimmers are limited to 3 events
for the session.
ENTRY TIMES: Submit entry times in: LCM. No Times are discouraged.
DEADLINES: Entry deadline is June 13, 2009. Mail hardcopy and payment to the entry chairperson: Anne Vitale, 405 Pine Hill Road, Moosup, CT 06354 All entries must be typed or printed legibly, and must use full names and registration numbers from USA Swimming registration. Providing payment is received by Tuesday, June 16, 2009, the official date of entry is determined by the time the e-mailed entry file or hardcopy is received.
CONNECTICUT-ONLY DEADLINE: CT deadline is June 7, 2009. Providing payment is received by Tuesday, June 11, 2009, the official date of entry is determined by the time the e-mailed entry file or hardcopy is received.
ELECTRONIC ENTRIES: Electronic entries (such as from Hy-Tek Team Manager or other team management software) that are in CL2 or SD3/SDIF format may be emailed as an attachment to the entry chair at info@tacswim.org. Please check that your team name, address, and contact information are listed correctly in this file. Providing that payment is received by June 9, the entry will be considered received and entered by the time/date the electronic entry was received.
ENTRY FEES: Electronic entries: $5.00 for individual events, $10.00 for relays. Manual entries: $5.50 for individual events, $11.00 for relays. No refunds will be given for entries that are accepted, or for entries that are rejected due to improper entry.
PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS: Please make checks payable to Thames Aquatic Club and mail to: Anne Vitale, 405 Pine Hill Road Moosup, CT 06354 . Payment may also be made online at www.tacswim.org . Payment must be received by 06/16/ 2009.
CUT PROTOCOL for INVITATIONALS: Teams will be cut by official time/date entry is received. Thames Aquatic Club will limit the length of the meet to 3 hours. In the event of over subscription, relays will be cut first. Clubs will be notified of cuts no later than July 1.
RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE CHANGES: The meet referee reserves the right to make any adjustments to the provisions of the meet announcement deemed necessary
to ensure the fair and efficient running of the meet, with prior approval from Program Operations. Clubs will be notified of cuts no later than July 1.
RELAYS: Relays will be limited to 2 relays per team per event. All relay swimmers must be officially entered in the meet.

TIME TRIALS: No

DECK ACCESS: Only athletes, coaches, officials, and official meet staff actively participating in the meet are permitted on the pool deck.
SCORING: The meet will not be scored.

PARKING: Parking available in Ocean Beach lot. Arrival before 4:30 pm will result in a parking fee to be assessed. After 4:30 pm, mention to the Parking Attendant at the gate that you are with Thames Aquatic Club, and no parking fee will be assessed.
DIRECTIONS: The Ocean Beach Competition Pool is located at 98 Neptune Ave, New London, CT. via 95 North, take exit 82A (Frontage Road) to Colman Street exit. Take a left onto Colman Street, drive to the end. Take a left onto Bank Street and first right onto Ocean Avenue. At the end of Ocean Avenue, take a right at the blinking light. Continue straight into the park entrance.
