Description:

The Northwest CT YMCA in Winsted/Torrington, CT has an opening for an Assistant Age Group Swim Coach. The successful candidate for this part time (year round) position will have the ability to work well with athletes, parents and the other coaches. The candidate will be part of helping with the growth of the team and must have the interest and skills to develop young athletes to the best of their ability and to instill a lifelong enjoyment of swimming. Under the direction of the Head Swim Team Coach, the Assistant Age Group Swim Coach will help manage the swim team in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by USA Swimming and the YMCA. 

Qualifications: 

High School, College, USA Swimming or YMCA competitive swimming experience with knowledge of technical rules Must be a team player and committed to coaching swimmers of all ages Energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism
