LOOKING FOR COACHES

Laurel East Hartford YMCA Swim Club

The Laurel East Hartford YMCA Swim Club is looking for part-time coaches for its program.  LEHY is a member of USA Swimming, CT Swimming and YMCA Swimming.  Swimmers range in ability from beginning swimmers to YMCA National level swimmers.  LEHY gives a coach the opportunity to work with a well established program and some of the top swimmers in the state. 

CPR, First Aid, and Coaches’ Safety Training are needed certification in order to coach and work at swim meets.  If you do not have these certifications at this time we are willing to help you find available classes and reimburse for certifications. 

The following positions are available: 

PART-TIME ASSISTANT AGE GROUP COACH

Working with swimmers ages 9-16.  Swimmers vary in ability from beginning to competitive age group swimmers.  Practice times vary from 4:30-6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  There is also an opportunity to work some days with upper level squads on the team and coach meets on the weekends.
