preliminary program, in PDF, via email attachment or website link and will
be given until 9 PM Monday March 2, 2009 to email
office@ctswim.org
of any entry errors. Please read the

for policy and procedures regarding corrections.

Late Qualifiers:
Any entered team that has a swimmer
achieve an initial qualifying time during the period of February 25 through
Sunday March 1, 2009 must enter using FAST Online Entries by, 9 PM Monday
March 2, 2009. Please read page 13 of the
User's
Manual.

Out-of-state clubs and swimmers not affiliated with a club should contact
Nan Cooper for entry instructions.

Parking:
Illegally parked cars will be ticketed and towed! Cars will be towed if parked
on the side of Warren St. where signs indicate "No Parking".
Please be respectful of the Wesleyan guests that will be visiting the Freeman
Athletic Center.
- Pool Entrance: Please enter Wesleyan through the front lobby.
Entering and exiting from the rear doors on the pool deck will not be
permitted.
Officiating
for CT Senior Championships
Short Course Senior Championship begins Thursday, March 5th.

To ensure that
your volunteer efforts are credited towards your teams work assignments, you
will need to reply by February 24th . Requests to officiate that are
received beyond that date will certainly be welcome, but there is no guarantee
that it will lessen your teams additional work assignments.

Hope you are all gearing up for a fast and
fun championship season. A couple of reminders:
1. Deadlines are stated in the meet
announcement and we ask that you review those carefully. We don't want any
swimmers left out. Remember too that even if you have great technology
(i.e. hand-held wireless devices) and can email late changes after deadlines, that doesn't mean that they will be
received or honored. So please be sure to make the deadlines.
(IMPORTANT: Email capability at Wesleyan has not been consistent and it is
important that you not rely upon email during the meet to communicate.)
2. We are going to need lots of
volunteers to run Seniors and Age Groups. Whatever you can do to organize
your team's work assignments will be greatly appreciated. I encourage all
of you to communicate with your parent volunteers as soon as CSI publishes
the work assignments to help smooth the process. Our volunteers are
terrific and your help in keeping this tradition alive would be greatly
appreciated.
3. The sign-up for officials at
championship meets is posted and we ask that you encourage your officials to
volunteer and sign up as soon as possible.
4. Positive check in/scratch - please
review the meet announcement for the new changes.
