Dear Coaches/Team Representatives,
Enclosed you will find the work assignments and preliminary program for LSC Championships. It is very important that we have the support and cooperation from all the teams to make this Championship meet the best meet for our swimmers. Remind your parents that your team job responsibility is for the entire session and that you must find your own replacement
.* Team assignments for Finals will be completed at the end of the preliminary session based on qualifying swimmers.
SCRATCHES:
Positive check-in will be required for Thursday night events by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 15. Scratch sheets for Friday morning's events must be turned in by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Scratch sheets for Saturday and Sunday morning events must be turned by 5:00 p.m. the previous evening. A program for the following morning’s events will be posted before the conclusion of finals each night. Teams that do not plan to attend Thursday evening must fax or email their Friday scratches to the CSI office no later than noon on Thursday, March 15th. Scratch sheets for the afternoon session shall be due 30 minutes after warm-ups begin each day.
CORRECTIONS:
Meet corrections will be accepted until 9:00pm Tuesday March 13, 2001. Under no circumstances will corrections be accepted after this time. This procedure will not be used to improve seed times.
COACHES:
Coaches meetings are scheduled for Friday at 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in the office.
All coaches, upon arrival, please register in the office, secure your ID badge, (credentials needed: current USA registration card) and pick up your packet. Only coaches with I.D. badges will be allowed on deck.
PARKING:
Please notify all swimmers and parents that parking may be difficult. The parking lot adjacent to the tennis courts on Vine St. provides adequate parking.
WARM-UP/WARM-DOWN:
Designated lanes will be available for warm-up/warm-down during each session.
BULKHEAD:
Coaches and swimmers are not allowed on the bulkhead at anytime.
SHAVING:
Shaving is not permitted on the premises.
CLEAN-UP:
Coaches are responsible for the clean up of their team area after each session. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
AWARDS:
All awards will be placed in bags located in the room next to concessions. It is the responsibility of each coach to remove the bag at the conclusion of the meet. Any bags not picked up will be left at Wesleyan University.
HOSPITALITY:
A light breakfast will be available each morning. A catered lunch will be available each day with pizza available at night. Drinks and snack will be provided throughout the day. Please note only coaches, and officials are allowed in the hospitality room. No Swimmers.
