Dear Coaches,
On behalf of CT Senior Swimming, we would like to welcome you and your athletes to the 2001 CT Senior Open Long Course Championships. We would also like to thank the University Of Connecticut and UAC (University Aquatic Club) for their hospitality. We have made a few changes to the meet format to better facilitate a smooth running of this Championship. Please share the following list of notes and changes with your athletes.

Thursday evening’s session has been moved 1 hour earlier.3:30pm warm up
5:00pm start
Preliminary sessions (fri-sun) have been changed by ˝ hour.
6:00am warm up
8:30am start

Competition pool opens at 6:00am Friday-Sunday.Note: Please adhere to the timeline for all pace and sprint lanes.

The practice pool, adjacent to the competition pool, is available for general warm up/warm down during the following times:9:00-11:00am 6 lanes
11:00-2:00pm 2 lanes
6:00-9:00pm 6 lanes
Note: Please adhere to posted times and lanes open for warm up/warm down.

Scratches are due by 6:00pm for the following daysThursday @ 6:00pm for Thursday and Friday’s events
Friday @ 6:00pm for Saturday’s events
Saturday @ 6:00pm for Sunday’s events

Relays will be swum during the evening (Finals) session Only!!!. Please notify us of any relay scratches on your scratch form to avoid any unnecessary heats.·
There will be a ready room located by the record board for all "A" finalists. Please have your athletes arrive no later than 5 minutes prior to their event. Appropriate team attire is required for the parade of athletes.Awards will be presented at the starting blocks to the top 6 athletes immediately following the conclusion of the "A" Final.
Awards will be presented by the coach of each individual and relay event champion.
Please fill out bio forms for each "A" Finalist. Please turn in bio’s to the announcer prior to the conclusion of the preliminary session.

Coach’s hospitality will be located on the far side of the pool, by the record board.·
A timeline with approximate event start times will be available to all coaches the evening prior to the next day’s events. Events will not start prior to the posted timeline.·
A coaches meeting will be held 30 minutes prior to the start of each session.
