LONG COURSE ZONE TEAM
COACH APPLICATION FORM
The 2000 Eastern Long Course Zone Swimming Championships
will be held in Buffalo at the Erie Community College and the University of
Buffalo pools on August 9 - 12, 2000. The 9-12 year olds will swim at the
University of Buffalo Alumni Arena Pool and the 13 and overs will swim at the
Erie Community College Aquatic Center. All finals will be held at the Erie
pool.
This form must be submitted to the Zone Team
Coordinator by June 15, 2000 if you wish
to be considered for the 2000 LC Zone Team Coaching Staff.
ZONE
TEAM COACHING RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Attend
scheduled team practices.
2.
Attend
organizational meetings and prepare TEAM ENTRY.
3.
Actively
participate in meet coaching - ensuring all swimmers are ready and prepared to
swim.
4.
Select
relay participants and set relay team order.
5.
Monitor
and supervise team both at the pool and in the hotel. (supporting coordinator and chaperone efforts).

Depart: August 8 - approx. 6:00 AM
Meet Dates: August
9 - 12
Return: August
13 – late afternoon
COMPENSATION
Coaches will receive $60 per day (for the
number of days of the meet) plus room and board.
