Changes to the HMST Invitational (Feb 10-12): the sessions on Saturday and Sunday have been combined. There will be one session each day with a 7:00 am warm-up and 8:15 am start. The Friday session remains the same.

USA Swimming Foundation fundraiser Gold Medal Dining Experience in New York City. The event will feature two-time Olympic gold medalist Garrett Weber-Gale, who, in addition to being a phenomenal swimmer, is a big food enthusiast. He will be preparing a once-in-a-lifetime dinner with four guest chefs: Tom Colicchio (Top Chef), Daniel Boulud (chef/owner of one of the “ten best restaurants in the world”), Daniel Humm (“Best Chef: NYC”), and Florian Bellanger (Cupcake Wars). The evening’s event will feature Rowdy Gaines as emcee. The event will be very intimate—it will take place at the Bouley Test Kitchen in New York City, and there are only 50 total seats for the event. Tickets for this event are $1,500 but specially priced at $1,250 for USA Swimming members. Please contact Mariah Cunnick mcunnick@usaswimming.org for information.

FAST Online Entries (OE) will open soon for championship meets. Clubs are reminded to review their entries using FAST Team - Championship Qualification. Please review the Meet List and forward missing meets to office@ctswim.org. The FAST Online Meet Entry manual and other information is posted here. Below is a list of things to do to help

1. Email office@ctswim.org “custom meet” and out-of-state USA Swimming sanctioned meets results to upload into FAST. These must contain USD ID number and be attested by a certified referee.
2. If you do not have electronic results, please enter custom times manually. Email proof of time. Please allow plenty of time for verification.
3. As you receive custom times, please enter them into OE. Don’t wait until the deadline.
4. Please have all custom times in system at least 24 hours before entries close.
5. Register all your athletes for 2012.
6. Submit a transfer form for athletes transferring to your club from another USA Swimming club.
7. Refer to the meet announcement for eligibility criteria. OE doesn’t contain all the “rules”.

On October 30th CSI Official Paul Gontarski fell from a ladder and was seriously injured. He has been rehabilitating at Gaylord Rehabilitation Hospital since his injury. Friends of Paul will be holding a fundraiser to help Paul's family with expenses related to his injury. Gontarski Family Fundraiser will be held February 25, 2012 or make a donation to the Paul Gontarski Trust Fund.

2012 USA Swimming Club Membership is due no later than December 1, 2011. A $50 late fee is assessed for club membership received after December 1, 2011. Both USA Swimming club application and payment must be submitted. Please note that we cannot register a club for 2012 unless the head coach is registered for 2012 and is in good-standing. The following clubs have not renewed for 2012: ARAC, BRS, BSY, CCAT, CDOG, EDST, FINS, GLAS, JCCB, NFAF, NMEG, NWYL, OMNI, RAC, SHU, SNCO, TP, UAC, VSYM, WAC, WEST, WILD, WRAT, WRTS, WYW, and YALE.
