Minutes

 

December 6th, 2000

 

Call to order: The meeting was called to order by committee chair Tim Quill at 7:37pm

Present: Tim Quill, Tim Wise, Jason Paige, Sara Massa, Jeff Allen, Ellen Johnston

Approval of Minutes (Oct 4th ): Minutes were approved.

Approval of Agenda: The agenda was approved as published.

Discussion of old business: None

New Business:

Senior Meet Announcement Committee worked on updating the meet announcemnt for the upcoming CT Senior Open to be held at Southern CT State University Feb 22-25.

With the exception of normal grammar and misspellings, the committee is trying to remove some of the old language and make a more detained announcement. The order of events will be the spring sectional format.

Meet logistics Given the facility, there is a general concern about warm ups and the meet getting too big. Unfortunately, given the new schedule and placement of this meet and the new sectional format, it would not be wise to rush to rash judgement and the committee will make any adjustments necessary when entries arrive.

Warm up procedures Procedures for warm up will be discussed at the next senior committee meeting after each committee member has time to think of various ideas
