In Attendence: Rick Lewis (chair), Henk Jensen, Peter, Boucher, Barry Silver, Ellen Johnson, Dan Zeek, Ed Doernberger, and Karen Barber

Meeting called to order at 7:50 pm in Orange

Agenda for the meeting approved

Committee Reports

Senior:

LC Senior Championships Time Standards approved as proposed

LC Senior Championships - The meet will be closed, Announcement was

Age Group:

Age Group announcement will be available soon

Peter announced that the Zone Policy had been updated

There will be a Breakout camp at Cornerstone with 60 athletes

19/over policy approved (The age group for the individual events will be 15-19. However, any 19 year old with a super sectional cut will not be allowed to Swim that event, Relays remain 15-18).

Technical Planning

Need an athlete on the committee

Will try to monitor the 19 year olds at Age Groups

Program Operations

UConn will not be available for Regionals due to a shut down for maintenance.

Wesleyan will have 3 sessions.

New Business

2007-2008 Short Course Season

Feb. 29 – March 2 Regionals

Mar. 6 – Mar. 9 Age Groups

March 13 – Mar. 16 Senior Championships

Talked about proposed NCAA regulations regarding swimmers

Talked about CIAC and a possible meeting between CT Swim and CIAC

Brazilian Team visit. Voted to not allow their participation at Age Groups.
