CSI 2000 SC Championship Meets

Thanks to all of the CSI Officials and Administrative Personnel for your efforts during the Championship Meets.

Rule Change (New Starting & No Recall) Orientation Workshops

55 Officials attended the workshops held during Age Group and Senior Championship. The list of Referees, Starters and Stroke Officials who completed the training is on the CSI Web Site.

Additional workshops will be scheduled prior to the start of the LC Season (Information will be posted on CSI Web Site) to provide training on the rule changes effective May 15, 2000. It will be mandatory for all Starters and Referees to attend a Clinic before they work at a meet where these changes are in effect.

New Officials Clinics

There will be clinics for new officials scheduled prior to the start of the LC Season. Please watch the CSI Web Site (ctswim.org) for further information

Timing Adjustment Workshop

Pat Griffis has graciously agreed to conduct another workshop pertaining to Timing Adjustments, Colorado Printouts, etc. in the fall. Please watch the CSI Web Site (ctswim.org) for further information.

USA Swimming Officials Workshop

Jim Diette was nominated and approved to be the CSI representative at the workshop to be held May 26-28 at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY.
