Dec. 6, 2006 Meeting #1

Conference Call Meeting Called to order at 8:40p.m.

Members Participating: Christine Pelham, Dan Zeek, Bill Ball, Mike Ferraro, Anne Hughes, Jen Lyman

Absent: Jon Levine

First meeting all New Business

I. Online Coaches Forum-proposal to create an online forum for any registered CSI coach to share useful information and basically interact with each other. It would be password protected , topics will be suggested through email first to Jr. Coach Rep. Dan Zeek and then posted online.

A. discussion followed as to the focus of this forum and it was decided that it should be directed in a noncontroversial format only with the additional goal of being a safe, secure and fair way to vote on Coach of the Year awards and representatives.

B. Dan Zeek will be working with Nan Cooper to have this up and running by the end of Jan.

Motion to Vote-Jen Lymen, Second Mike Ferraro

Everyone in Favor, none opposed, no abstentions

II. Spring Coaches Clinic-proposal to host a clinic in the Spring for all coaches sponsored by USS swimming and conducted by Ira Klein or Baily Weathers. These nationally recognized coaches would bring in their informational presentation to us.

A. Bill Ball will speak with Ira and Baily and set aside some dates in April, early May that we can book.

B. Jen Lymen, Dan Zeek and Mike Ferraro will create the promotional information necessary so that the advertisement of this event is productive therefore making it well attended .

Motion to Vote-Bill Ball, Second Jen Lymen
