Not Present: Nanci Liscinsky, Ken Block, Jen Lyman, Sue Lecza
Barry Silver called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM.

ANNOUNCEMENTS AND REPORTS
Jane Moore will be stepping down as a member of the Age Group Committee. We would like to thank her for all her efforts. She will be missed.
Update from Barry on House of Delegates meeting
Ken Block will be looking at the time standards for adapted swimming for the 2004-2005 swim season.
OLD BUSINESS
Continuation of discussion on proposals for 2005 SC Age Group Championships
MOTION: To shorten AM warm-up session from 1 hour and 45 minutes to 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Amendment: To change 1 hour and 10 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes.§
35 minutes (1st session)/ 35 minutes (2nd session)/ 15 minutes (sprints + pace)/ 5 minutes§
Passed 8-0-1Continuation of discussion on proposal to separate LC Regional Championships by age groups.
MOTION: To have two Regional sites, one at Cheshire and one at Wesleyan, where depending on the entry size there will be either one or two sessions.
Also to include:

Friday night event changes: All 400 freestyles and the 13 and over 400 IM to be held Friday night§
All Friday night swimming to be at Wesleyan§
Warm-up for Friday night to start earlier to allow swimmers to get out earlier800 Freestyle to be held as last event on Saturday
1500 Freestyle to be held as last event on Sunday

Passed 8-0-1MOTION: To endorse the recommended LC Age Group cuts of having one set of LC cuts for short course and long course season age group meets.

A few issues at Cheshire with seating and score board. These issues will improve next year. A way has been figured out to use Cheshire’s score board, and Cheshire hopes to have more seating next year.·
