SC Championships Wesleyan has been secured for both Age Groups (March 2-5)
and Seniors (March 9-12), though the University will still be in session for
Age Groups and parking is expected to be a problem. Ken Block will include a
heads up on the parking situation in the AG meet announcement.

Meets
consistently under-subscribed. Compressed sessions common. FINS 8/U meet (Jan
9) cancelled. Pentathlons (OAK and ARAC) under-subscribed.

AA Invite, NES Snowball Class, CAT Swim for Hunger big successes.

Sanction
Requests
a.
HNHS
requested an approval of their December regional Y meet. This was withdrawn
after discussions with Rick Lucan who wished only that results could be used to
enter swimmers into either Senior or AG championships.
b.
ARAC
has requested a sanction of their Nutmeg League Championships on Feb. 4-5, and
has forwarded their meet announcement to me.
c.
Steve
Riley of EDST has requested a sanction of their CCSWL Varsity Championship meet
in February. I am waiting to receive a meet announcement.
4.
LC
00 Declarations of Intent to bid will be mailed in January with our
championship meet announcements. Ed Steinnagel has agreed to oversee the meet
sponsorship committee and to run the meeting. We expect to have bids in by Feb.
15th and meeting is set for Feb. 22nd. New officials
requirements to be re-iterated:

00 teams must have at least 1 S/T official.

01 teams must have at least 1 Referee and 1 Starter.

02 teams hosting 2+ day meets must have 2 Ref, 2 Starter.
