OFFICIALS CLINICS:

Five Clinics were conducted this fall.  As of November 17, 1997, we have issued the following Trainee Cards:





14 Stroke & Turn


  4 Starter


  3 Referee





Additional Clinics will be scheduled after the first of the year.



ANNUAL OFFICIALS MEETING:

Was well attended and there was much discussion on how we can deal with the heavy meet schedule this season and possible steps that can be implemented prior to the start of next season to ensure that we have officials available for all meets.



GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL OVC:

We had observers at all Class Trials, Finals and State Opens.



OFFICIALS PATCHES:

Send check payable to CSI for $3.50 to Ed Easley. Please include return envelope.



97/98 MEET DIRECTORS:

Please make sure that you have contacted and received commitments from Officials for your meet.  The Officials Roster is available thru the CSI WEB SITE. If you need assistance, please do not wait till the last minute to contact me.



OFFICIALS COMMITTEE:

Will be in place by January 1, 1998.



REFEREE/MEET DIRECTORS WORKSHOP:

Tentatively scheduled for Sunday, January 4, 1998 (see enclosed)
