The next cooperative practice is Sunday, July 5th. If any team would like to host a cooperative practice, or if you have any questions please contact Jen Lyman or (203) 464-6903.

Revised Results are posted for the WYW AA Invitational.  The men's 50M freestyle was revised.

There is a mandatory meeting regarding the OTC Elite Training Camp on Sunday, July 5th at 9:00am, at Central CT State University.  At this meeting you will meet the coaches and we will go over travel itinerary.  We will also go over any rules and regulations that the OTC will have during your stay there.  Athletes unable to attend this meeting must contact Jen Lyman at coachlyman@hotmail.com or 203-464-6903.

The CDOG Invitational (Jun 20-21) has been moved to the Yale Practice Pool and an extra session has been added.  Warm Up Times: Friday Night (400 Free/IM, 200 Back/Breast/Fly) 5:30pm; Saturday AM: 8:00am; Sunday AM: 8:00am. CDOG is also in need of officials for the Friday night session.  If you are willing to help please contact Meet Referee, Chris Patrell at spatrell@cox.net

The morning and afternoon sessions of the TAC Invitational (June 20) have been combined into one morning session.  All age groups: Warm-up 8:00 AM, Start: 9:00 AM.

Changes for WYW Invite and Qualifier (Jun 18-21): Saturday and Sunday, the warm up/start time for the meet changed from 12:30pm/1:30pm to 12pm/1pm. This is 30 minutes earlier. Please have your swimmers ready for warm up at 12 noon. Also changing is the warm up/start time of the AA finals sessions on Saturday night and Sunday night.  Warm up will begin at 5:30pm with the start time of 6:30pm.  Keep in mind that the Wilton High School's graduation ceremony will be held across the street from the Wilton YMCA beginning at 5pm.  Traffic should not be an issue with the new start time.

The CSI Board of Directors is seeking a volunteer to chair the Disability (Adapted) Swimmer Committee. This individual will work with the CSI Board of Directors regarding Disability policy, promotion, education and time standards. The Disability Committee is under the purview of the Program Development Division.  If interested, please contact Rick Lewis.

Club Reminder: All clubs or coaches should back-up their team databases regularly and store a copy off-site. Clubs may store their backups using FAST and retrieve files at any time. Log into your club's FAST Admin page and select Backup Archive. Select the file you want to store and click Upload File.  It is best to upload zipped or compressed files. Multiple files may be uploaded.  Clubs are allotted 10,000 kb or more of space. Please contact office@ctswim.org if you would like more storage space.

OAK Distance Meet (Jun 12) clarification: Warm-up: 4:50 PM. Start: 5:30 PM (not 5:50 PM).

Important reminders from Jen Lyman, Open Water Championship Race Director:  Date:  June 20, 2009; Entry Deadline:  All entries must be in by June 15th;
There will be NO EXCEPTIONS, NO RACE DAY ENTRIES.

Coaches may apply for a coach position with the CSI Elite Training Camp in Colorado Springs August 16-23, 2009. The application deadline is June 15, 2009.

Effective immediately, coaches and clubs will now transfer or release an athlete using the Athlete Transfer/Release online submittal form. CSI's policy regarding transfer/release of athletes will be published after the CSI June 17, 2009 Board of Director's meeting.

The Program Development Committee meeting scheduled for June 9, 2009 has been cancelled.

Changes to WCYM Invitational (June 27-28): both morning sessions will begin 15 minutes earlier - 7:15 am warm-up, 8:30 am start.  No change to the afternoon sessions.
