Moira McCloskey, YALE, Record-BreakerThe US Open concluded Saturday December 2, 2006 and Connecticut athletes fared very well. Two CSI Resident Records fell and six athletes qualified for finals from preliminary heats with over 1,000 swimmers.

Joining the athletes at the US Open were CSI Officials, Scott Burr and Mike Huffman.Record-Breakers
Justine Ress, SNCO broke the Girls 13/14 100M Backstroke Resident Record with a 1:06.34 and Alex Righi, YALE, broke the Mens Senior 100M Backstroke with a 57.03. Another YALE athlete, Moira McCloskey, tied the CT Womens Senior 200L Back swimming a 2:18.30
