Meeting of the House of Delegates
May 16, 2006
Summary

The annual meeting of the House of Delegates was held Tuesday May 16, 2006 at the High Plains Community Center in Orange, CT.  Bill Krumm, General Chair, convened the meeting and welcomed all attendees.  Bill encouraged coaches, athletes and parents to become active volunteers with Connecticut Swimming. Additionally, Bill announced a USA Swimming Swimposium that will be held in New Haven on Saturday October 7, 2006 and will include workshops/clinics for coaches, officials, athletes and parents.

Congratulations to our new Board members!  These members will serve a two-year term beginning September 1, 2006.  Special thanks to David Heller, Chair, Jeff Gray, Chris Hug, Ellen Lang and Christine Pelham for serving on the Nominating Committee and  presenting an excellent slate of nominees.

Previously elected, at the CSI Championship meets, were Stuart Ainsworth, Junior Athlete Representative and Dan Zeek, Senior Coach Representative.  Congratulations to both and we welcome them to the Board of Directors, effective May 17, 2006.
