Changes & Reminders

 

 

Regional Championships

  • Swimmers may enter 8 individual events and swim 7.  A maximum of 2 events may be entered on Friday, 3 events on Saturday, and 3 events on Sunday.
  • Outreach Athlete policy is in effect.
  • Clubs with Championship birthday athletes and/or adapted athletes must contact office@ctswim.org.
  • Athletes must have swum in one regularly-scheduled 2010-2011 CSI meet for the short course season.
  • Entry deadline is NOON on Tuesday, February 15, 2011.
  • Entry fees are to be paid directly to the host club. (Do not make payment to CT Swimming.)
Senior Championship
  • Championship heat configuration has changed. A Final is top 4; B Final is 5-13; C Final is 14-22.
  • Please note changes to preliminary seeding for the 500Y freestyle and 400Y IM.
  • The 9 fastest Women's 1000Y and Men's 1650Y freestyle will be swum after the 200 Free Relay in Sunday's finals. The remaining heats of the Women’s 1000Y and Men’s 1650Y freestyle will be swum in preliminaries immediately following the conclusion of the Men’s 200 IM prelims, fastest to slowest alternating women and men.
  • The order of events has changed.
  • Please review the bonus entry procedure and note limitations.
  • Outreach Athlete policy is in effect.
  • The deadline is Monday, February 28, 2011 at 9 PM.

Age Group Championship

  • 800Y Freestyle Relay is limited to 1 entry per club.
  • Relay-only entries are limited to 3 per age group/gender.
  • Outreach Athlete policy is in effect.
  • Late qualifiers will be entered using FAST OE.
  • Athletes must have swum in one 2010-2011 CSI meet for the short course season.
  • Daylight Saving Time will go into effect on Sunday of the meet.
  • The deadline is Tuesday March 1, 2011 at 11:00 PM
