Championship Meet
Changes and Reminders
 

Please note the following reminders and changes to CSI Long Course championship meets.  This list highlights some of the major changes and reminders to the upcoming championship meets but is not all-inclusive. Please read the meet announcements.

Senior Championship July 22 - 25, 2010

  • For Thursday night only.  General warm-up 3:00-4:15p.  4:15p -5:00p warm-up for men’s 800 and women’s 1500 freestyle swimmers only.

  • Only swimmers entered in this meet may use the warm-up lanes

  • No Bonus Events will be available for this meet except: Swimmers meeting the qualification in the 1000Y/800M may enter the 1650Y/1500M freestyle as a bonus and vice versa. The non-qualifying time must be entered with a reportable time. If session is oversubscribed, distance bonus events will be cut.

  • Review Positive Check-in procedure.

  • Clubs with adapted athletes should contact office@ctswim.org

  • Deadline is 9 PM Monday July 19, 2010.

Age Group Championship July 29 - August 1, 2010

  • 800M Freestyle Relay is one team per club per 800M free relay event.

  • Scratches for all events on Thursday Evening are due, via email to office@ctswim.org, on Wednesday evening before the meet.

  • The order of events has changed. The 12/U 400M relays have been moved to the last event of their respective days.

  • Clubs with adapted athletes should contact office@ctswim.org

  • Deadline is 9 PM Tuesday, July 20, 2010.

Regional Championships July 16 -18, 2010

  • Minimum time standards have been established for the LC Regional meet and mirror the SC Regional Championship except that the 1000Y/800M Freestyle has been added to the LC meet

  • Swimmers may enter up to one individual event on Friday night and a maximum of three (3) individual events on Saturday and Sunday.  Swimmers may compete in a maximum of six (6) events for the meet.

  • Clubs with championship birthday athletes and/or adapted athletes should contact office@ctswim.org

  • Please do not send payment to the CSI Office. Entry fees are to be paid to the host club.

  • Deadline is 6 PM Tuesday, July 6, 2010.
