Changes and Reminders
Please note the following reminders and changes to CSI Long Course championship meets. This list highlights some of the major changes to the upcoming championship meets but is not all-inclusive. Please read the meet announcements.
Regional Championships July 17 -19, 2009
Swmmers may enter up to one individual event on Friday night and a maximum of three (3) individual events on Saturday and Sunday. Swimmers may compete in a maximum of six (6) events for the meet.
Please do not send payment to the CSI Office. Entry fees are to be paid to the host club.
Senior Championship July 23-26, 2009
No Bonus Events will be available for this meet except swimmers meeting the qualification in the 1000Y/800M may enter the 1650Y/1500M freestyle as a bonus and vice versa.
Clubs may enter a maximum of two relay entries per relay event. ‘Relay only’ swimmers will be limited to a maximum of two swimmers per gender per Team for the meet. Relay-only swimmer entry fee is $5.
The positive check-in procedure for Thursday and Sunday's long distance freestyle events should be read carefully.
There will be no late qualifiers and the correction period ends Tuesday before the meet at 9 PM.
Age Group Championship July 30 - August 2, 2009
Relay-only entries are limited to 3 per age group/gender.
19 year-old athletes may enter individual events but may not compete in an event for which they have a 2009 Super Sectional qualifying time, including Super Sectional time.19-year-old athletes may not enter relays.
