Championship Highlights
The Connecticut Swimming Age Group Championship meet was held
July 27-30, 2006 at Cheshire Community Pool and Wesleyan University. Over 800
swimmers participated from age 8 to18 and, over the course of 2,400 swims,
nineteen CSI Records were broken. Notably, three long-standing records fell. Two
records established in 1985 by Cathy Ritch (SHKS) were broken by Justine Ress
and Katie Gardocki in the 100M backstroke and 100M freestyle respectively and
Brook Hanley's (SHKS) 1984 50M and 100M breaststroke records were broken by KC
Moss. Wow!
