Madwed Brings Home Gold
Daniel Madwed, SHKS, defended his U.S. Open 200M Butterfly title, finishing first with a 1:58.28. Seeded last in A Finals, he swam to gold from the Lane 8. Dan also finished 4th in the 100M Butterfly just behind Ben Michaelson. Congratulations Dan! Other A Finalists were Jaime Crowley (CCSU), 8th in the100M Free; Kristen Frost (SNCO), 4th in the 400M Free and Alexander Righi (YALE), 6th in the 50M Free.
