Summer Meets &
Registrations
The long course season is in full swing and it appears that the meet schedule is working out nicely. The additional meets on this summer's schedule have provided our clubs more opportunities for competition and the athletes are responding with fast swimming.
Along with entering meets come the registration issues that we are all familiar with. Because the long course season goes by so quickly, we have a very short period of time to correct any registration errors or omissions. Entries for Senior Championships are due in 2 weeks!
All clubs are strongly encouraged to check their athlete rosters for registration problems now. Posted are LSA and Hytek meet files that can be downloaded by clubs and imported into team software. Then, clubs should create an entry file with every club athlete and send it to the office. A report will be returned to each club listing any registration discrepancies. Clubs may also request a roster listing their registered athletes.
Please use this opportunity to check your athlete registrations before the championship season begins. Be assured that each athlete times will be recorded in Connecticut FAST and USA Swimming SWIMS databases.
Coaches: This is a good time to review the expiration dates of your credentials. Go to Coach Expiration Check in Connecticut FAST . Please confirm that you will be in good standing for our championship meets.
