conjunction with the 2000 Olympics October 18-31, 2000 in Sydney,
Australia. Dana was selected for the Paralympic Team at the USA
Swimming Disability Championships held this past June, making the team
for the second successive Games.
Dubbed the "paraMark Spitz" by sports writer Jeff Jacobs of the
Hartford Courant (Wednesday, May 17, 2000), Dana will compete in the 100 M
fly, 200 M IM, 50 M free and 100 M free. Dana currently holds the
American record in the 100 M fly and a world record is within reach,

goal is to "make finals and be in medal contention." Best
of luck to Dana in Sydney!!

CBS will be airing a Paralympic Games special on New Year's Eve. Stay tuned!
