May 2001 House of Delegates Meeting

The annual meeting of the House of Delegates was held May 22, 2001 at the High Plains Community Center in Orange.  A special thanks to out-going Board members Lauren Taft  and Ken Block.  Lauren served two years as Athlete Representative and developed the Just for Athletes web page.  Good luck to Lauren as she heads off  to college this fall.  Ken Block has resigned as Age Group Chair after two years of dedicated service.  We thank Ken for his outstanding administration of four age group championship meets.  Best of luck to Ken in his future endeavors!

• Bill Ball, Technical Planning Chair
• Sue Lecza, Treasurer
• Kathy Walsh, Safety Chair

Many thanks to our volunteers!  The newly elected board members will take office September 1, 2001. Barry Silver has been appointed  Age Group Chair effective immediately.

Elected at the CSI Senior Invitational and LSC Championships were the Junior Athlete and Junior Coaches Representatives.  Haley Wolfgruber of WYW was elected Jr. Athlete Representative and George May of SOCO & SCSU was elected Jr. Coaches Representative.  Congratulations!
