Senior Open Championships
SoNoCo Swimming
Combined Team Champions
The Senior Committee hosted the 2004 Short Course Senior Open Championships, March 4-7th, at Wesleyan University. Over 350 swimmers participated and nearly 250 swims (prelims and finals) achieved Speedo Champions Series qualifying times. Daniel Madwed (SHKS) swam a national qualifying time in the 200Y butterfly (1:49.55) and broke the 13/14 CT and Resident Records in the 100Y butterfly (49.72) and the 200Y butterfly. Joining Dan on the record board is Matthew Donch who broke the 15/16 CT Record in the 200Y butterfly with a 1:53.84. Pending notification from Wesleyan University Athletic Department, Wesleyan Pool records will be posted in the near future.

Junior Athlete Representative Elections
Congratulations to Kayleigh Boucher and Eryn Crane. Both were elected
Junior Athlete Representatives (yes, it was tie). Thanks to Meg Whitaker,
Athlete Representative, for running the election.
And always a special thanks to Sara Roberts, Meet Director; Ed Doernberger, Referee; Jeff Allen, Senior Committee Chair and all the volunteers that offered their assistance in running this successful meet.
