2002 National Top 16

Well-deserved congratulations go to the eighteen CSI athletes achieving National Top 16 times for the 2001-2002 short course season and the 2002 long course season. These times were tabulated between September 1, 2001 and August 31, 2002 from all fifty-nine of USA Swimming's LSCs. Consideration for Top 16 is open to all USA Swimming-registered athletes competing in USA sanctioned/approved short course and long course meets.

Daniel Madwed's (SHKS) 200Y Butterfly time put him #1 in the nation and broke the the National Age Group record with a time of 2:01.47. Also, joining Daniel in the #1 rankings is Katie Lang (SHEL). Katie finished #1 in the 10/U girls 50Y breaststroke (33.41) and the10/U girls 50M Breaststroke (38.57). Congratulations Katie and Daniel!!
