The 2003 LC Senior Open combined team title was at stake. It was Sunday night, the last event, and Magnus Aquatic Group had the lead. Connecticut teams had to rally together in an effort to fend off rival New England Swimming's Magnus Aquatic Group (MAG). Connecticut 400M medley relay teams had to finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in order to defeat MAG or let the title fall to a New England team. With CT teams cheering each other on, SNCO took first and second place and WYW's men snatched third from MAG who finished 4th. This clinched the combined title for SNCO, with MAG second and WYW third overall.

The close scoring made for a great meet and despite the fierce competition fun was had by all.  Twenty-one records were broken and numerous national reportable times were achieved.

Women's Team titles: MAG, SNCO and CDEV.
Men's Team titles: SNCO, WYW and MAG.
Women's Individual High Point: Erica Meissner (MAG)
Men's Individual High Point: Ben Michaelson (SNCO)
Women's Distance High Point: Denise McWhirter (CAT)
Men's Distance High Point: Andrew Trepp (WYW)
