SC Zone Team
Fifty-four top athletes comprised the 2001 CSI Zone Team representing Connecticut at the Eastern Zone All- Star Championship at the Prince George's Complex in Landover, Maryland this past March 29-31st. Overseeing the entire Zone Team were the CSI Zone Coordinators, Bonnie Fisher and Johanne Taft, both of whom put in countless hours. Preparing and traveling with the 2001 team were Connecticut coaches, George May, Head Coach, Brooks Ensor, Ann Hughes, Kevin Quill, and Kaeley Steinnagel. Assisting the coaches as chaperones were: Mary Lou Czaplicki, Glen Kalata, Stacy Murphy, Larry Prus, Pat Rappa, Heli Sgambato, and Helena Vitagliano. Larry Frost, once again provided his computer expertise as entry chair and Linda Prus put together the zone team graphics. Hats off to all these coaches and volunteers whose efforts made the 2001 Zone Team a success for our athletes!

Record-Breakers!
Megan Rappa (WYW) and Eric Ress (LEHY) recorded CSI record-breaking swims at the 2001 Eastern Zone All-Star meet. Megan broke the Resident record in the Girls 10/U 100Y Breast with a 1:15.62 and Eric broke two Resident records; first the Boys 10/U 50Y Back with a 30.05 and then the 100Y Back with a 1:05.04.
